1. Acceptance of Terms & Operator

By accessing, registering an account, or using CollectorOps, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. CollectorOps is operated by Stefan Klokgieters as a private collection management and documentation platform. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the platform.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirement (16+)

CollectorOps is intended strictly for individuals who are at least 16 years of age. By creating an account or submitting data, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 16, you may not register or use the platform.

3. Scope of Service & Platform Nature

CollectorOps provides digital tools for organizing, cataloging, documenting physical condition, and tracking estimated values of personal collectible assets.

CollectorOps is a private inventory and reporting system. It is not a public marketplace, auction platform, brokerage, or social network. All user portfolio records, item notes, receipts, and valuation baselines remain private to the registered user account.

4. Intellectual Property & User Content Ownership

• Ownership of User Content: You retain complete ownership and intellectual property rights in all data, photographs, certificates, receipts, and condition notes that you upload to CollectorOps. CollectorOps does not sell, license, or claim ownership over your uploaded content.
• Limited Technical License: You grant CollectorOps a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license solely to host, process, store, and display your content to you as necessary to operate and deliver the service.
• Data Portability & Export: You may export a complete copy of your portfolio records at any time directly through Account Settings or Reports, including machine-readable JSON backup files, CSV spreadsheet manifests, and printable PDF schedules.
• Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and purge all associated collection data, images, and history at any time from your Account Settings.

5. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your user account.
• Data Verification: Automated extraction and AI features are provided to assist your workflow. You remain responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all item attributes, purchase figures, and valuation entries.
• Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious material, and not to probe, scan, reverse engineer, or disrupt platform infrastructure or security controls.

6. Disclaimer of Valuations & Estimates

All pricing estimates, historical ranges, and AI-assisted market values provided within CollectorOps are for personal documentation and informational tracking purposes only. They do not constitute certified appraisals, formal underwriting guarantees, tax advice, investment advice, or guaranteed insurance compensation.

Valuations reflect aggregated market observations and conservative estimation algorithms. For legally binding valuations, estate planning, or contested insurance claims, you should obtain a formal appraisal from a certified professional appraiser.

7. Service Availability & Limitation of Liability

CollectorOps is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we take diligent measures to ensure data security and platform availability, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits or data arising out of your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
